A trauma-informed, nervous system-rooted approach to preparing your body, heart, and mind for birth. Most birth preparation focuses on the mind: Plans, protocols, breathing techniques, education. But birth doesn’t happen in your mind— It happens in your body. And if your body is holding unresolved fear, trauma, or tension... It can’t fully soften, surrender, and open to the power of labor. Somatic Birth Prep is for women who know that true preparation means more than checklists. It’s about feeling safe, resourced, and connected in your body— So when the intensity of labor arrives, you’re not resisting it... you’re riding it. In these sessions, we will: Gently explore and clear fears or trauma stored in your body Regulate your nervous system and cultivate deep safety Use somatic tools like breath, movement, sound, and touch Work with your birth imprint or subconscious beliefs about labor Prepare your body to open and surrender, rather than contract and brace Reconnect with your innate birth wisdom and embodied power This work is perfect for you if: You feel tension, fear, or overwhelm when thinking about birth You’ve had a past birth or medical experience that left imprints You want to feel more calm, present, and grounded during labor You’re calling in a sovereign, natural, or undisturbed birth You want to prepare not just mentally — but somatically, emotionally, and spiritually Session Format: 60-90 minute sessions (virtual or in-person) Single sessions or 3-session bundles available
